This is just a quick note for anyone interested. There has been a few little behind the scenes changes that hopefully will make the Wall Glamour experience a lot better.
Firstly we have changed our delivery options from Recorded 1st Class and Special Delivery to one national price of £7 for Special Delivery. This is due to the recent Royal Mail postal strike where a number of items were not delivered or were hugely delayed. We really want to apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused any of our customers. As you can imagine we have had no control over the effect these strikes had. We really want to support the Royal Mail and the Post Officem, but find that the service they offer is just too hit a miss at times so we are currently looking into other shipping options, but in the meantime everything will go next day.
Can I just point out that although it is next day delivery, I'm afraid it does not mean that you will receive your order the next day. Sometimes we are overwhelmed with orders and are unable to get through a days orders and sometimes, as recently happened, an image of ours appears in print in red and everyone wants red which we then have to reorder metres of vinyl from our suppliers.....I hope you understand :) Each item is created to order and can take up to 5 working days to arrive.
Recently we noted a few errors on our site in the admin system and decided to do a thorough analysis. We found that some people trying to order over £100 of products couldn't so we have fixed this issue now. We are also working on version 1.2 of the website, having learnt a lot in the last few months about our users and their experiences. We will not be making any fundamental design changes, the revisions are mainly about usability. Expect to see our revisions appearing soon.
One of the new features is already on the website and that is our FAQs, we hope to expand this and also add a place were you can send a question to us if its not covered.
One last thing is that we really want to hear from you! They say "no news is good news", but still we want to know what our customers think. We want to know what you thought of the packaging, the instructions, the website, the fitting process and the actual finished item....we want to know so that we can improve what we do. I know that most people don’t bother with online surveys etc as I am the same, but if you are a recent customer we'll send you a 10% off your next order as a digital voucher for any feedback.
